Demian K. Jackson

Demian K. Jackson is the Principal Patent and Trademark Attorney at IPG. He is a Registered Patent Attorney with over 15 years experience in intellectual property law. Mr. Jackson was trained at one of the top IP law firms, Knobbe, Martens, Olson, & Bear and has extensive experience practicing before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on behalf of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to foreign law firms to small inventors. He has drafted and prosecuted patent and trademark applications in a wide variety of fields, including general mechanical, medical devices, computer science, and communications, with a specialization in semiconductor technologies. Mr. Jackson’s experience in semiconductor processing technologies includes integrated circuit fabrication flows, circuit layout, chip packaging, flat panel displays, light emitting diodes, and semiconductor processing equipment, as well as deposition processes, etching, annealing, oxidation, and photolithography. He obtained a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2001. Mr. Jackson has worked extensively and effectively with international patent and trademark firms. He is a member of the U.S. Patent Bar, the Virginia Bar, and the California Bar.

James W. Ausley

James W. Ausley has been a Registered Patent Agent for over 15 years. He was trained and worked for over 9 years at one of the top IP law firms, Knobbe, Martens, Olson, & Bear. Mr. Ausley has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in a wide variety of fields, including general mechanical, computer science, semiconductor fabrication and design, electrical engineering, medical devices, business methods, and automotive aftermarket for a number of major corporations. He has extensive experience in the complete process of patent prosecution from initial invention disclosure through application drafting and prosecution with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including Examiner interviews and appeals. He obtained a M.A. from the University of La Verne and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has been a Registered Patent Agent since 2001.

Jennifer A. Haynes, Ph.D.

Jennifer A. Haynes, Ph.D. has been a Registered Patent Agent in the field of biotechnology since 2001. She obtained a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA. Her science experience includes pre-doctoral experience in virology and cancer biology and a 5 year post-doctoral fellowship at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in cancer genetics. Her experience in prosecution includes the following technical areas: virology, cancer molecular biology, gene expression, gene cloning, enzymology, DNA sequencing, molecular diagnostics, immunology, grain processing, and chemical applications.
